Welcome to the Kennewick Chapter, NSDAR!

Welcome to Kennewick Chapter, NSDAR! It is my honor to serve as Regent of this active and storied chapter. We have served Kennewick and the surrounding communities since 1912.

 

We fulfill the DAR mission of education, patriotism, and historic preservation in a variety of ways. We honor veterans at our annual Wreaths Across America remembrance in December, as well as assistance for Columbia Basin Veterans Center and the state veterans home in Walla Walla. We support education locally with literacy promotion and classroom enrichment. Historic preservation is a focus as we recognize our local history and the impact of national
events on our area.

 

Members of Kennewick Chapter come from many walks of life. We have members serving in the military as well as veterans, veteran spouses, engineers, nurses, teachers, and authors. Besides our work on behalf of Kennewick Chapter, members may be found volunteering at churches, arts organizations, and libraries, enriching our community far and wide.

We are a lively and growing chapter and we invite you to join with us as we Illuminate our Legacy!
