NSDAR Constitution Hall

Welcome to the Kennewick Chapter, NSDAR!

I am honored to serve as the Kennewick Chapter, NSDAR, regent. The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) is a non-profit, non-political women's volunteer service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history and securing America's future through education. Our members can trace their bloodline lineage to a Patriot in the American Revolutionary War, and our volunteer service to our local community is how we honor our ancestors’ spirit and sacrifice.

Kennewick Chapter, NSDAR, members can be found placing wreaths on the graves of veterans, reading to children, promoting essay contests, reviewing scholarship applications, participating in commemorative events, supporting troops at home and abroad, providing baby quilts to new mothers, and so much more. But there is more to accomplish in our community, with your help.

Please ask yourself these two questions:

  • Why do I want to join DAR?

  • What does DAR mean to me?

These important questions will help indicate your level of interest in joining our National Society. Should you wish to start the process of attaining membership, please contact our membership chair. I encourage you to think about joining the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Membership is truly rewarding!

With kindest regards,

Judith Petitmermet

Regent
Kennewick Chapter, NSDAR
